See our ideas for highlighting #YouthVoice on October 24: 💡 If you’re hosting an open house, allow students to give tours of the program 💡 If you’re hosting a rally, give young people an opportunity to speak publicly to the community about their views on afterschool and the impact of their program 💡 If you’re hosting an art day, have youth decorate light bulbs to mail to your local elected officials and share why afterschool is important to them. 💡 If you’re hosting a letter-writing day, work with the local newspaper to have them publish op-eds by young people that focus on kids' views of afterschool https://lnkd.in/eb3y2qJD

This 4-session virtual course will cover the basics of Environmental Action Civics (EAC), the Earth Force Process, and the basics of facilitating your own training of EAC! You will be welcomed into our new, online community of practice. We will dig into youth voice, civic action, and best practices in training others. This core training is open to US-based trainers, professional development facilitators, directors, and organizations who train adults. Stipends ($500) available for successful course completion.
