We've know for years that students have placed the number one priority on greater employability and getting a financially secured future when pursuing a postsecondary education. The number one reason why they don't attend college is cost. They are worried that it will be unaffordable. But he is poised to graduate next spring with a degree in a medical field with median earnings of $126,318 five years after graduation, and from a university with an average net cost of just $4,000 annually. Those low tuition costs and high earnings — along with his GI Bill benefits and a federal Pell Grant — will enable Roa to graduate debt free and transform the future of his family. Phase Two Advisory offers a framework to help mid-level leaders tie their tactical priorities and goals to their organization's vision and strategic plans.

Since 2019, Phase Two Advisory, in partnership with The Ada Center, has helped California community colleges redesign student supports that promote student success and holistic wellbeing. Their brief, "Leaders Gotta Lead," offers senior leaders at higher ed institutions insight into and real-life suggestions for how they can deliver the support that their mid-level leaders need during efforts to design and implement HSS reform.
