Pat McMackin is celebrating 52 years of service at our Klamath Falls Oregon location. He began his career with Weyerhaeuser in August of 1972, eventually transitioning to Collins Products LLC in August of 1996 when the facility was purchased by Collins. Pat is known for his reliability and for meeting the needs of our customers. He often returns to the mill after loading hours to load trucks. Fun facts for the year 1972: •On August 16, 1972 ‘Alone Again (Naturally)’ by Gilbert O’Sullivan was at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. •The video game ‘Pong’ made its debut in November of 1972. •Nixon was the President of the United States of America. •The ‘Midnight Special’ was shown for the first time on television on August 19, 1972. •On August 6, 1972, Hank Aaron hit his 660th and 661st home runs for the Atlanta Braves, breaking Babe Ruth’s MLB record of homers for one team. •Nearly 80% of our current workforce in Klamath Falls hadn’t been born! Please join us in congratulating Pat on this monumental achievement and “Thank you, Pat, for everything you do for the Collins TruWood Siding Team.”

Collins Land Access Updates! Due to heightened wildfire concerns, Collins is announcing the following status changes to public access to managed lands: Collins Almanor Forest (Chester, CA): Effective Friday, June 28, 2024, Collins lands in the Almanor region are restricted to day-use only. Recreational day-use activities such as hiking, bicycling, fishing, and sightseeing remain permissible at this time. If conditions worsen, additional restrictions may be implemented. This policy affects Collins California timberlands in Lassen, Plumas, and Tehama Counties and will remain in effect until further notice. Collins Lakeview Forest (Lakeview, OR): It is the policy of Collins Lakeview Forest (CLF) to be closed to public access during officially declared fire seasons. Both Oregon and California have declared the start of fire season, so CLF will be closed to public access until this status is lifted in the fall. This policy affects Collins timberlands in Lake and Klamath Counties, Oregon, and Modoc County, California. To learn more about Collins land use policy and current closure restrictions, visit: https://lnkd.in/gAD4X5Yk We thank you for your understanding and continued support. Thank you, Galen C Smith Collins VP Resources
