We are pleased to announce that Nichol’s Body & Repair in Columbus, IN, has joined the CollisionRight team. This acquisition increases our total number of shops to 101. Founded in 1926, Nichol’s Body & Repair has been owned and operated by just two families over 98 years—the Nichols and the Butlers. Ray Butler began working at Nichol’s in 1982 while his father was an owner, and he, along with his wife Janie, took over the business in 1987. We are excited to welcome Nichol’s Body & Repair to the CollisionRight team! We’re looking forward to celebrating 100 years with them in 2026!

We are excited to welcome Tripp's Collision to the CollisionRight team. With three locations in Michigan, Tripp’s brings our total shop count to 100! Phil and Barb Tripp first opened the doors to Tripp’s Collision in 1988 in a small garage at their home. What started as a part-time high school job for Phil has grown into a three-shop business with locations in Jackson, Lansing and East Lansing. We look forward to continued growth for the Tripp’s brand in the Lansing area. 

We are thrilled to welcome Buckeye Collision Service to the CollisionRight family! Located in Marion, Ohio, Buckeye Collision Service adds to our growing family, bringing our shop count to 97.  Buckeye Service Center has been a staple in the Marion community for nearly 50 years. Brian Reed, the current owner, has been involved in the collision industry since the age of 13. In 2003, he took over the business from his father and two other co-founders. The business continued to grow, and Brian expanded to a new location in 2017 as they outgrew the original shop. We are delighted to have Buckeye Service Center as part of the CollisionRight team! 

We are happy to announce that Kepner’s Precision Auto Krafters is now part of the CollisionRight team. Located in Benton Harbor, MI, Kepner’s brings our total shop count to 96. Kepner’s was founded in 1970 by Rich Kepner at the age of 18. It began as a small, two-car building, but as the business grew, Rich traveled to Germany in the 1980s to learn how to build a larger facility equipped with down-draft booths for technicians and painters. It was state of the art. After Rich’s passing eight years ago, his wife Connie Kepner, along with their son and son-in-law, continued to grow the business. We are excited to welcome Kepner’s Precision Auto Krafters to the CollisionRight team! 

Join me in welcoming Fifth Dimension Collision Repair to the CollisionRight team! Fifth Dimension (5D) has three locations near Champaign, Illinois. This brings CollisionRight’s shop count to 95. Owners Scott Miller and Ingrid Hampton started Fifth Dimension after the company where they worked was sold. They decided to start their own shop and fix cars their way. Scott and Ingrid relied on word of mouth from happy customers to help them grow their business from one location in fall of 2007 to three locations in the fall of 2022. We are thrilled to have Fifth Dimension as part of the CollisionRight team!

On April 9th, we had the privilege of partnering with Skills USA to host the Ohio State Championship at our Three-C Body Shop location in Columbus, OH. It was an inspirational day, filled with talented young professionals demonstrating their skills and dedication to collision repair. Their innovative approaches and expert skill sets indicate a bright and dynamic future for our industry. Thank you to all who participated and helped make this event successful. We are proud to support the growth and development of these young professionals as they shape the future of the collision repair industry.

It’s our pleasure to welcome Merton Auto Body to the CollisionRight team! Merton has two locations in Wisconsin, expanding our presence into our tenth state. Merton is a strong addition to the CollisionRight family of brands. The owner, Ryan Carriveau, has been in the collision business for nearly 30 years. He started as a paint prepper and advanced his career through the shop, eventually becoming the owner. He and his wife, Tina, have grown the business from 1.4 million in sales to 7.5 million over the last 10 years, and they have many long-time employees who take great pride in the Merton name.
