At Colonial, protecting the people and the communities along our 5,500-mile system is our top priority. We have a long-standing relationship with the WILLIAMS FIRE & HAZARD CONTROL Xtreme Fire School in College Station, Texas, and annually sponsor about a dozen firefighters across our pipeline to attend the training. For the first time, Colonial brought the Williams Fire Training to a community where our pipeline runs, training an entire fire department, rather than just one representative. South Spartanburg Fire District in South Carolina, along with their local aid partners, recently attended this important Colonial-sponsored training. It was such a success, we are looking to expand this method to other parts of the system. Check out this video of the training to get an inside look at what our emergency response partners learned. #EmergencyResponse #PartnersInResponse #EmergencyPreparedness

It was a perfectly crisp fall morning for the recent Davidson Lands Conservancy's 19th annual #RunForGreen. Hundreds of runners laced up their sneakers to enjoy the serenity of nature while raising money to protect the charming community's open spaces, tree canopy, animal habitats, trails, and greenways. We were a proud sponsor of the race and are looking forward to growing our relationship with this wonderful group. #enviromentalpartner #externalengagement

We love supporting our emergency response partners as they work to make their communities safer. Our Linden Junction team recently presented a check to the Woodbridge Police Department to help fund their #NationalNightOut, an annual community-building event that aims to strengthen relationships between law enforcement, residents, and local businesses. As the local responding police department to an emergency event at Colonial, we gave them a tour of the property and they had the opportunity to discuss safety and security with our staff. We appreciate the camaraderie and their partnership! #FirstResponder #PublicPrivatePartnership

After long days working Hurricane Helene response, while dealing with their own personal impacts, Colonial’s Charlotte team took some much-needed time off to enjoy a pre-planned family fun day at the Panthers game on Sunday, Sept. 29. We appreciate all you do for your communities and the region. #EmployeeAppreciation #StormResponse

As part of our damage prevention program, we perform aerial patrols of our system weekly. Following Helene, it was important for our teams to get up quickly to survey any potential damage at our facilities and along our right of way. Thank you to our #OneColonial teammates and partners who worked so hard to ensure our safe operations while dealing with their own personal impacts from the storm. #HurricaneHelene #DamageAssessment #StormResponse

We’re grateful for our dedicated employees, utility workers, and #firstresponder partners who worked tirelessly to maintain safe service through #HurricaneHelene. We conduct regular emergency preparedness exercises to ensure employees and partners are ready to respond, while collaborating with federal, state, and local response agencies. We appreciate all you do to get our communities back up and running. #resilience
