Robust fish population is an important sign of stream health. We partner with Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) every year to survey fish in Fountain Creek as part of our watershed management program. Fountain Creek is home to a few native fish - such as the flathead chub - that play a key part in this ecosystem. Did you know these athletic fish can travel over 20 miles upstream to spawn?

We’re investing more than $660 million in water capital projects over the next five years to continue providing water to our growing community. This includes our water sharing program in the Lower Arkansas River Valley and upgrading our water storage capacity with the Continental Hoosier System Project.
