During his time as CRA President, Rob McReynolds made a profound commitment to community service, consistently encouraging our members to engage and contribute. His compassionate spirit is why we continue to give back in his memory each year. Since establishing the Rob McReynolds Fund, we've successfully carried out roofing projects for the Aurora Soup Kitchen, the Anchor House (a haven for emancipated foster youth), Mile High Behavioral Health and provided assistance to single parents, disabled homeowners, veterans and more by covering their roofing expenses. Donations to the Rob McReynolds Fund help provide roof donations to homeowners or non-profits in need. These donations are distributed by the CRA Community Service Committee and our Board of Directors. We truly appreciate any and all matching opportunities our members can offer. With Giving Tuesday coming up on December 3rd, consider making a contribution in honor of Rob. Giving Tuesday is a global movement dedicated to generosity, encouraging people worldwide to support causes they believe in: https://heyor.ca/psWfeu #GivingTuesday #CommunityService #RoofingProjects

🎃 Happy Halloween from the Colorado Roofing Association! If you’re going all out with decorations this year, follow these tips to avoid any spooky accidents: • Avoid installing decorations during bad weather. • Use safe installation methods like stable ladders that are the appropriate height for your roof or telescoping poles. • Have someone assist you during installation. • Choose non-damaging fasteners that won’t pierce shingles. • Secure decorations tightly with rope or sandbags to withstand wind and weather. • Use outdoor-specific lights to prevent electrical hazards. • Minimize walking on the roof—step only on well-supported areas, and wear soft-soled shoes if necessary. • Avoid using nails or nail guns that could damage your roof and cause leaks. A safe Halloween is a fun Halloween! #HalloweenSafety #ColoradoRoofing #ColoradoRoofingAssociation #Halloween
