Dr. Tokhunts joins our team as a board-certified anesthesiologist who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in critical care and anesthesiology. He received his medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College and also completed a residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in critical care at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. We recently had the privilege of hosting a collaborative meeting with Kids Alliance For Better Care (KidsABC) focused on emergency departments. This event welcomed representatives from rural hospitals across the state to our facility, where they had the opportunity to tour our advanced simulation lab and observe our training protocols for pediatric emergencies! KidsABC plays a vital role in supporting rural pediatricians and family practitioners throughout Georgia, ensuring that high-quality pediatric care remains accessible within local communities. Through KidsABC, practitioners in pediatric healthcare gain valuable opportunities for networking, peer learning, and professional development through training sessions led by subject matter experts.
