Nichole’s impact on our team and community is immeasurable. With a Master of Arts in Gerontology and over 25 years of experience in the senior living industry, including extensive work in Memory Supportive communities, her passion for serving seniors and their families shines through in everything she does. Nichole’s contributions extend far beyond ComForCare. She serves on the Advisory Council for Dementia Capable CARES and the Planning Committee for the Dementia Alliance of North Carolina's annual fundraising GALA. She holds certifications as a Matter of Balance Coach, Certified Support Group Facilitator, Certified TimeSlips Creative Storytelling Facilitator, Licensed North Carolina Adult Care Home Administrator, and Dementia Alliance of North Carolina Ambassador. Nichole is also a proud member of local organizations such as the Senior Information Networking Group and Dementia Capable CARES—and to top it off, she’s a certified SCUBA Divemaster! What an incredible evening at the 2024 Dementia Alliance of North Carolina's A Night to Remember Gala! We were honored to be part of the planning committee and attend such a special event this past weekend. The energy in the room was amazing, and whether it was bidding on auction items, playing heads or tails, or simply being there to celebrate, every moment made a difference. Together, we helped raise over $103,000 for Dementia Alliance of NC! This funding will have a huge impact on individuals living with dementia and their care partners right here in North Carolina. One of the most moving moments of the evening was hearing from Cris Charbonneau, who shared her caregiving journey and reminded us that caring for a loved one doesn’t have to feel like a burden. Thanks to the support of Dementia Alliance programs, families can face this challenge with the dignity and compassion they deserve. Thank you to everyone who made the night unforgettable!
