WORRY has a purpose. It helps us anticipate and prepare for challenges. But at some point, worrying outlives its value. It causes us to delay acting. It slows us down, makes us anxious and takes us off our game. I often must remind myself to worry only as long as it is useful. To get myself ready for the known obstacles that lie ahead... And to gird myself for the inevitable challenges I could not have anticipated. I push myself not to squander my time fantasizing about the demons I don’t yet know.
