A heartfelt thank you to our local dignitaries, community collaborators, and agency partners for joining us at our kickoff press conference for Hunger Action Month! This month, we at CAPK are channeling our energy towards combating food insecurity in our county. In 2023, our Food Bank nourished over 100,000 of our neighbors, and sadly, in 2024, that number has doubled to over 200,000. But with your support, we are fully confident that we can tackle food insecurity in Kern County head-on. Ready to join us in making a difference? Join the fight here: https://lnkd.in/gjaEJTGr
