This August, we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible work of our Head Start programs! 🌟 Head Start is a national program that promotes school readiness for children under 5 from low-income families by providing comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services. These programs ensure that children are ready to succeed in school and life. To qualify for Head Start, families must meet income guidelines based on the federal poverty level. Other factors like homelessness, children in foster care, and families receiving public assistance (TANF or SSI) also qualify.
