    John Clark Joins Community Bank's Board of Directors Lexington, TN – Community Bank is pleased to announce that John Clark has joined its Board of Directors. Clark brings decades of experience in the banking industry, having served as President and CEO of First State Bank. Clark began his banking career with the Bank of Sharon in 1976 and quickly became President and CEO by 1981. He established Sharon Bancshares Inc. in 1986, a one-bank holding company that grew to include four banks, which later consolidated under the First State Bank name in 2003. Clark led First State Bank until its merger with Simmons Bank in 2015, helping it grow to manage over two billion dollars in assets. Clark serves as the Interim Director of the Horace and Sara Dunagan Chair of Excellence in Banking at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin.     Marty Lewter Joins Community Bank's Board of Directors Lexington, TN —Community Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Marty Lewter to its Board of Directors. Marty, a Murfreesboro resident, spent his career in public accounting with a focus on financial institutions. He is a graduate of Tennessee Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration. He is a certified public accountant (inactive). Marty’s career highlights include serving as managing partner of Crowe LLP's Franklin, TN office for 8 years, and prior roles as managing director and partner at Heathcott and Mullaly before its merger with Crowe Chizek.     Community Bank Welcomes Ellen Brown as New Branch Manager and Loan Officer in Henderson Henderson, TN – September 13, 2024 – Community Bank is excited to announce the appointment of Ellen Brown as the new Branch Manager and Loan Officer at the Henderson branch. Ellen brings over 15 years of banking experience, along with her deep commitment to the local community, to her new role. Most recently, Ellen served as a bookkeeper for Chester County High School and the Jackson-Madison County School System. Her previous banking roles include customer service representative, teller, administrative assistant, and assistant branch manager. With her broad range of experience in banking operations and customer service, Ellen is well-positioned to lead the Henderson branch. Ellen has lived in Chester County since 2019 with her husband of 28 years. She has one son, currently in college, and two stepdaughters, both married with children. In addition to her professional experience, Ellen is actively involved in the community as a member of Friends of Chickasaw, the Chester County Carl Perkins Advisory Board, and a newly selected member of the Leadership Chester Class of 2025. Darla brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her new role, having built a diverse career spanning business development, client services, and banking administration. Before joining Community Bank, Darla's professional journey was marked by diverse roles. She served as a Career Coach for client services with the Tennessee Department of Workforce and Labor, and as an industrial packaging company representative focusing on new business development and sales. In the banking industry, she held roles as a Teller Administrator, Head Teller, and Administrative Assistant, showcasing her versatility and commitment to excellence. Since joining Community Bank, Darla has made an impact as a receptionist and Customer Service Representative at the Natchez Trace Branch. Her experience, customer-focused approach, and deep ties to the community make her the perfect fit to lead the branch as its new manager. A proud Henderson County native, Darla has been married for nearly 25 years to her husband, Ernie. Together, they have two children: Selena, 21, and Dakota, 16.
