We're wrapping up a successful and fun summer here at The Community Blood Center! Our HR and Facilities Teams are celebrating with some team-building fun: The Office Olympics! At CBC, we take pride in our mission to Connect Lives; Share Life, and we also love finding ways to come together, grow as a team, and have a blast. What better way to achieve that than with an afternoon of games? (And a little healthy competition never hurt anyone, right?)

Today is the day to "Strikeout Cancer" at the Timber Rattlers Stadium and rally together for this fun event and make a difference for children and families impacted by childhood cancer! Come by The Community Blood Center's booth as we spread some joy and win prizes by playing our Plinko game! Let's knock cancer out of the park, one smile at a time.

It's #NatioinalNonprofitDay! Did you know The Community Blood Center is a nonprofit? It's true! We're proud of the work we do as well as the work being done by other incredible nonprofit organizations in the community. Together, we can continue to make an impact!

We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our MASH events this summer! From Appleton to Waupaca, Rhinelander to Merrill, and our inaugural event in Wausau, the turnout was nothing short of amazing. Each community came together, demonstrating an overwhelming spirit of generosity and commitment. Your donations during these challenging summer months have ensured that our local hospitals are stocked and ready to save lives. The dedication and kindness displayed at every event were truly inspiring. A special shoutout to everyone who donated, volunteered, and spread the word about these events. You are the true heroes, giving the gift of life and making a significant difference in our communities. We couldn't have done it without you!

Summer isn’t over yet! And neither is the increased need for blood on account of recreational traumas and injuries. Patients at local hospitals rely on volunteer donors — there is no substitute for blood transfused to a patient.
