Meet Glenn Drivere, also known as “Nervous Glenn.” From the moment he walked through our doors, Glenn’s big smile and warm heart have been a beacon of light for everyone he meets. A true jokester and proud Navy veteran who served as a hospital corpsman during the Vietnam War, Glenn’s life is a testament to resilience, strength, and a love for life that never wavers. Glenn continued to live life with purpose, working as a mechanic, a tow truck driver, and even helping to design the first flatbed for towing vehicles. He also found camaraderie in the Brotherhood of Street Racers, earning his nickname “Nervous Glenn” from the legendary Big Willie Robinson. On this Senior Citizens Day, we are reminded of the incredible wisdom, stories, and love that our senior residents bring into our lives. It’s a privilege to know him and his story.
