David worked so hard to get his apartment after being homeless but found himself without anything to put in it. This is the problem that many people leaving shelters and transitional housing face. A problem that our friends at Community Warehouse are helping to solve! Because of our partnership, David’s case manager at Blanchet House was able to give him a voucher to shop in the warehouse. “I got a really nice bed from Community Warehouse that I look forward to sleeping on every night. It’s a good brand too. I don’t know where I would have gotten a bed otherwise. I also got a desk, lamp, and most of my kitchen things like a toaster.” Addressing our city’s housing crisis requires collaborative efforts between organizations and donors. It’s so important for our clients to find practical and immediately usable items to furnish their new homes. Director of Development | Fundraising, Nonprofit Organizations

⏳ Final Hours – Just 12 Hours Left to Make an Impact! ⏳ As many of you know, I’m the Development Director at Community Warehouse, where we help families and individuals turn empty, cold houses into warm, welcoming homes filled with comfort, dignity, and hope. Imagine stepping into a new place—a house meant to be your safe haven after years of instability or hardship. Whether you’ve experienced homelessness, escaped dangerous circumstances, fled your home as a refugee, or lost everything to a fire or flood, you’ve finally found a place to rebuild. But when you walk in, it’s completely empty. No bed to rest on after a long, exhausting day. No table to gather around for a meal. No couch to relax on and feel safe. Just bare floors and empty rooms. For many families and individuals in our community, this is their reality. Community Warehouse, we’re changing that. And in the next 12 hours, we have the opportunity to make an even bigger impact through our 48-hour fundraising campaign, which ends tonight at midnight. Here’s how your monthly gift can make a real difference: 💙 $48/month provides a bed for a child who might otherwise be sleeping on the floor. 🍽️ $75/month gives a family a table and chairs where they can gather for meals and create memories. 🏡 $100/month furnishes a full living room, turning an empty space into a welcoming home. These are more than just furniture pieces—they’re the foundation of security, comfort, and a fresh start. Your contribution is about more than furniture; it’s about giving families and individuals dignity, a sense of belonging, and the stability they need to rebuild their lives after experiencing loss or hardship. Will you join me in helping create homes today? Whether it’s a monthly gift or a one-time donation, your support will go directly to those who have been through so much and need a safe, welcoming home to begin their healing journey. With only 12 hours left, this is our last chance to reach our goal and help as many families and individuals as possible. I’m asking you to be part of this effort. Every gift matters and makes a lasting impact. 👉 https://lnkd.in/g_pgmzKP Thank you so much for being part of this incredible community and for your support. Together, we can change lives—one home at a time. With heartfelt gratitude, Alma Barraza Development Director, Community Warehouse

Most people agree that supporting your local furniture bank is a very cool thing to do, but if you still need convincing, just ask the Blazers! Big thanks for the donated tables and chairs, Portland Trail Blazers @ the Rose Quarter 🙌 🏀! (We’re not sure where the “i” in “rip city” went, but we DO know there’s no “i” in “team”!) #Trailblazers #RipCity #SupportLocal #FurnitureForGood #CommunityImpact
