About us

Community West Credit Union is a federally insured credit union committed to serving those who reside, are employed, attend school, or worship in Allegan, Barry, Ionia, Kent, or Ottawa counties in West Michigan. Because we are a member owned, not-for-profit organization, we are able to offer our members services like auto loans and mortgages with lower rates than traditional banks can offer. We also offer a loyalty rewards programs, ATMs with no fees, and group rates on insurance and other services. With our network of over 30,000 fee-free ATMs nationwide, our members can travel with ease knowing CWCU is always there to serve them. Here at CWCU, we strongly believe in giving back to the community and hiring employees who are service-minded. Most recently, we have made an effort volunteer at Kids' Food Basket and Gilda's Club and participated in a variety of community events like local parades, races and festivals.     Wrapping up our back-to-school week, we asked our Grandville team to share some advice for the senior class 🎓 Patti: "You haven't even begun to peak, the sky is the limit - reach for it!" Keisha: "Do everything - all dances, all sports, all extracurriculars that you are passionate about." Julie: "Be nice, have fun, and make time for your family." Ruth: "Work hard, follow your dreams, and always be kind!" Emma: "Take your time getting to the future and enjoy the present!"   • Continuing with our back-to-school kick-off, we are showcasing our Kentwood team today! We asked our team to tell us a little about their time in school 🎒 "What was your favorite grade and why?" Melissa: 5th Grade - loved my teacher! He believed in me and kickstarted my love for reading! Heather: 3rd Grade - I had a great teacher , and my grandma was very involved in all my school activities this year 😊 Maddy: Undergrad - First time I was home and I loved the challenge.
