Diesel-powered generators have been the backbone of data center backup power for decades. At Compass, we knew there had to be a better way. That’s why we went all in on hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) - a renewable, biodegradable and low-emission alternative that reduces greenhouse gases by up to 85%. HVO isn’t the final answer to the data center industry’s energy challenge, but it’s a right now solution to help us reduce emissions while we build toward the future.
