Ending asset poverty for families with low incomes and narrowing the racial and gender wealth divides
About us
Compass Working Capital ("Compass") is working to end asset poverty for families with low incomes and narrow the racial and gender wealth divides. Our mission is to partner with families with low incomes to build assets as a pathway out of poverty. We focus on reaching families led by Black and/or Latinx women. To achieve our mission, we operate client-centered savings and financial coaching programs, deliver training and technical assistance to other practitioners, and shape policy solutions that dismantle barriers to asset building.

Last year, we expanded our partnership with WinnCompanies to bring the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program to their Pittsburgh residents at Allegheny Commons. We're thrilled to see the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette highlighting WinnCompanies' commitment to supporting families with low incomes to build savings and achieve their financial goals through the FSS program. We’re proud to partner with an organization that understands the complex barriers that families with low incomes face when trying to build wealth, especially as the cost of living continues to rise. Thank you Gilbert Winn for authoring this insight piece. Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/e3fQBG6B

Compass Working Capital was proud to be represented by Dwayne Keys, AFC® Keyes, AFC®, and Dioneiris Medrano at the WinnCompanies Connected Communities Foundation 2nd Annual Partner Appreciation Brunch. It was a pleasure to connect with other partner organizations working together to build stronger communities across Massachusetts. Knowing that our FSS program with WinnCompanies complements the efforts of so many other organizations is incredibly rewarding. Thank you to Winn for your ongoing partnership and opportunities to build relationships across the service sector.
