Back in August, the Bank of England implemented its first interest rate cut since March 2020, reducing rates to below 5%. Since then, NatWest has recently lowered their rates on two-year fixed mortgages by up to 0.60% as well as Nationwide Building Society reducing selected rates by 0.31% and now first time buyers can borrow up to six times their income on selected 95% mortgages and five and 10 year fixed products. As we move into October, this shift is offering potential homebuyers and first time buyers better mortgage options and making it a little easier to get onto or move up the property ladder. As part of National Food Bank Day (6th September), we provided over 100 essential items for EMS, a local food bank located near our development, The Leeway in Hull to help those in need 🙌 Alongside Lovell Partnerships Ltd, our dedicated teams gathered long-life essentials like pasta, rice, tinned goods and cereals, all of which are in high demand by local food banks. We’re especially proud to have raised the highest number of items in the region for a local food bank! In addition, our local contractor, O’Donnell Civil Engineering, generously donated £100 towards food items to further support the initiative.
