My nieces and nephew light up my life, and I couldn’t ask for a more nurturing circle than my parents and siblings. I’m also thankful for the opportunity to begin my journey at Conceptual HR, working alongside such inspiring women. I take pride in having taught myself the basics of crocheting—how adorable is my little ghostie? I had the joy of revisiting the beauty of Denver. Growing up in the Southwest, every visit to this region feels like a return home. I experienced a concert at the breathtaking Red Rocks, marveled at stunning mountain views, and explored the enchanting experience of Meow Wolf, an interactive art experience like no other. I visited the very first exhibit in Santa Fe when I used to live in New Mexico, and visiting all of the exhibits is now a goal. 2 out of 5 completed (with the 6th coming in 2026, so maybe my 2026 post will be that I've visited them all. ;))"

🤔 Did you know? 🤔 In October 1492, Columbus landed in the Bahamas, but he believed he'd found a new route to the East Indies (Southeast Asia). This is the origin of the term “Indians,” which was used to refer to Native Americans. Columbus thought he'd discovered the 'New World' when in reality, the lands Columbus explored were already home to an estimated 2 - 18 million Indigenous People in the area now known as North America. Columbus Day was intended as a celebration of the beginnings of American heritage. But the holiday does not acknowledge the Indigenous People who already occupied the 'New World'. For this reason, in 2021, Indigenous Peoples Day was formally commemorated with a presidential proclamation. So today, please join us in celebrating #ChristopherColumbusDay and #IndigenousPeoplesDay!
