Heidi Jandris has established herself as one of the country’s elite minds when it comes to embodied carbon, and we’re proud to have her on our Board. She recently concluded a trip to the Cornhusker state where she presented to students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and University of Nebraska at Omaha on some of the lesser-known benefits of CMU construction, including its uncanny ability to sequester CO2. Heidi’s sessions are part of a broader effort to enhance CMU proficiency at the university level, ensuring the next generation of architects and engineers have a well-rounded skillset and knowledge base to draw upon as they enter the workforce.
