Tom Willis, CEO is pleased to announce the promotions of Andrew Wilson to Chief Operating Officer and Paula Haley to Chief Accounting Officer. Andrew brings with him almost thirty years of progressive and broad-based business experience. With the past decade focused in the renewable fuels industry, Andrew brings expertise in results-oriented operations management, data driven strategy execution, and team leadership that will be invaluable as we continue to grow and evolve. Andrew has been with Conestoga for over seven years in a variety of roles. In his role as COO, he will oversee all production and commercial activity as well as all carbon reduction initiatives, working closely with our entire executive team to drive our strategic initiatives forward. Paula has over 38 years of experience in the diverse areas of non-profit, governmental, commercial manufacturing and private sector accounting. For the last 23 years, Paula has specialized in the renewable energy industry, fine-tuning responses to market volatility while maintaining the integrity of our company’s financial statement reporting. She believes that empowering her team to build their individual strengths leads to a strong company core that can successfully achieve goals and targets during times of unpredictability in our industry. Paula has been a part of the Conestoga team for the last 15 years. In her new role, she will administer and oversee the accounting operations, data science, and financial planning and analysis segment of the company and work closely with our executive team and senior managers to drive forward our company’s objectives.

Conestoga’s two bioethanol plants can produce over 40 million pounds of distillers corn oil annually. Distillers corn oil, also known as corn distillers oil or corn oil, is a co-product obtained during the production of ethanol from corn in the dry milling process. It can be converted into biodiesel through a process called transesterification. Biodiesel derived from corn oil can be blended with petroleum diesel or used as a standalone fuel in diesel engines, providing a renewable and environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuels. Additionally, Distillers corn oil is a valuable ingredient in animal feed formulations, particularly for poultry, swine, and dairy cattle.
