Managing Partner Erin Higgins co-chaired and presented at The Managing Partners Forum 2024 Fall Symposium, “Empowering Women in Law Firm Leadership,” in Chicago on October 8-9. The conference, designed exclusively for women in the legal profession, was attended by approximately 50 women managing partners from cities all over the United States and Canada. Topics ranged from strategic planning and talent retention to compensation models and business development.

On October 10th, Conn Kavanaugh Managing Partner Erin Higgins (Professional Liability) and Partner Kathleen R. O'Toole (Employment Law) attended the 2024 Shining Star Celebration. The Gala is hosted annually by the Victim Rights Law Center at Artists for Humanity and helps to fund free legal services for sexual assault victims with civil legal issues. Conn Kavanaugh Partners Andrew Dennington and Derek Schaffner traveled to D.C. on October 15 to attend The Scales of Justice event hosted by Equal Justice Works. On October 9th, Conn Kavanaugh Partners Laurel Koes (Family Law) and Andrew Dennington (Business Litigation) attended “Together for Justice” at the Natick Center for the Arts. The event is an annual fundraiser hosted by MetroWest Legal Services to support the organization’s critical legal work for low-income, elderly, and disabled clients in the Boston MetroWest region.
