World Breastfeeding Month is a time to celebrate the dedication of breastfeeding mothers and the supportive role hospital care teams provide, especially those navigating the complexities of the NICU environment. One way our MilkTracker Feeding Management System fosters a collaborative environment between the care team and parents is with Milk Chat – a two-way messaging feature that allows moms to connect with lactation consultants or breastfeeding resource nurses. This vital link between hospital and home enables lactation experts to understand a mom’s specific needs better, offering targeted support with photos, videos, and educational information. Milk Chat helps reduce stress, increase confidence, and foster better breastfeeding success for optimal outcomes for both mother and baby. Celebrate World Breastfeeding Month with us by recognizing the power of connection, communication and technology in supporting breastfeeding mothers. With AngelEye Health's MilkTracker and Milk Chat feature parents are not alone in their journey, with support at their fingertips.

As we celebrate World Breastfeeding Month this August, it’s essential to recognize the emotional and physical challenges mothers face, especially those with infants in the NICU. Our CameraSystem plays a crucial role in breastfeeding support. Studies have shown that watching a livestream video of your baby can significantly increase milk production. The emotional connection and bonding that occur when mothers can see their infants, even from afar, can stimulate oxytocin release, which is essential for milk production. Providing this connection with a secure, 24/7 livestream video not only supports emotional well-being but also encourages breastfeeding by helping mothers feel more in tune with their infants' needs. Join us this World Breastfeeding Month as we celebrate and support the incredible journey of mothers and their babies. With AngelEye Health's CameraSystem, parents are empowered and connected to their infants along their journey.

AngelEye Health honors a life well-lived and a true pioneer in neonatal medicine. We remember Mildred T. Stahlman, MD, who is credited with establishing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center the nation’s first Newborn Intensive Care Unit to use monitored respiratory therapy in babies born with damaged lungs. We offer our gratitude for Dr. Stahlman’s amazing career, influence, and advocacy in the field of neonatology. As a mom of a NICU grad who spent over 2 months of his life on a ventilator, I am so grateful for Dr. Stahlman’s pioneering work. ❤️
