Remembering the 2016 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament and Connor® Sports involvement with a historic chapter in the game! The Final Four took place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. University of Connecticut dominated, winning their 4th straight national title over Syracuse University. All four regional sites were neutral: Bridgeport, Dallas, Lexington, and Sioux Falls. University of Tennessee, Knoxville extended their streak to 35 straight tournament appearances. University of Connecticut continued their incredible run with 9 consecutive Final Four appearances. Fun fact: It’s the only Final Four (as of 2023) where all four head coaches were men. #WomensHoops #NCAAW #UConn #TBT #FinalFour #CollegeBasketball #WBBHistory

Throwback to the 2015 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championships and Connor® Sports 1st Official Court for the Women's Final Four! The tourney tipped off in March with sub-regionals and regionals, returning to neutral regional sites: Oklahoma City, Spokane, Greensboro & Albany. For the first time in years, the early rounds were played Friday–Monday instead of the usual Saturday–Tuesday. The Women's Final Four took over AMALIE Arena in Tampa Bay (SOUND FAMILIAR) and for only the third time ever, all four #1 seeds made it to the big stage. University of Tennessee, Knoxville kept its streak alive with a record 34th straight appearance in the March Madness tournament. University of Connecticut extended its Women's Final Four streak to 8 straight trips and winning the National Championship against the Lady Fighting Irish of the University of Notre Dame. Legends were made. History was written. #NCAAW #MarchMadness #WomensHoops #FinalFour #UConn #Tennessee #BasketballHistory
