Head of Creator Partnerships at ConvertKit

Going full-time as a creator is a big leap, and Creator Economy NYC’s latest panel focused on taking it. One key takeaway? You need a newsletter. 🔹“If you don’t have a function to capture emails today, do it tomorrow.” - Olivia Owens 🔹“Social media is rented space. Think about migrating your audience to an email list and how you can build community through it.” - Brandon Smithwrick 🧠 🔹“Start a newsletter. It’s something I wish I started way sooner.” - Dara Denney Creators in 2024, the email list is your best friend.

Join the Elite 1% That Rise Above the Noise. 🚀 Slayer of the Mundane 🚀 Author of the #1 Amazon bestseller “BRAND INTERVENTION” responsible for $7B in sales

ConvertKit just unveiled its rebrand: Kit. But why does rebranding matter? Here's how it works (and how it doesn't) Rebranding is NOT about: • Changing your logo and calling it a day • Changing just to "keep things fresh" • Making changes without strategy • Losing your brand's essence • Confusing our customers • Copying competitors Rebranding is really about: • Making the invisible visible • Assessing the market's noise • Breaking down industry clichés • Enhancing efficiency and simplicity • Being so unmistakable, you glow in the dark This is why I wrote about the Disruption Formula. I cover it in detail here: https://lnkd.in/eVKDnpM9 Mastering the disruption formula is your key. → You will attract more loyal customers. → You will drive sustainable growth. → You will differentiate your brand. Rebrand with purpose. And watch your business thrive. Congrats Charli Prangley and Nathan Barry ♻️ Repost to remind others how good it can get. 🔔 Follow David Brier for more.

Creator Experiences + Events Program Manager

The Power of Community in the Creator Economy Last week, I attended a new event and one of my favorite to date, and given how many I've experienced on behalf of ConvertKit → Soon to be Kit, that says a lot. Huge kudos to Gabriel Nussbaum, Aydan Al-Saad, Henry Nelson-Case, and Tanvi Shah ACA for creating something truly special with their first-ever Creator Space Retreat. It was absolutely worth the trip from Boise to London. Here’s what made it stand out: 🌟 Intimate Size: With just 75-80 attendees, it struck the perfect balance. As a sponsor, I loved how it allowed me to connect with so many people, and as an attendee, it felt exclusive. Their gated community ensured everyone in the room was serious about their creator business, which significantly elevated the conversations. 🌟 Unique Schedule: The agenda was unlike anything I’ve experienced. I watched the final talk while sitting in a robe after completing a Wim Hof breathwork session and conquering an ice bath. Half the room was in a robe—certainly new and I loved it. 🌟 Shared Experiences: These activities fostered deeper connections among attendees, breaking the ice (literally!) and sparked meaningful conversations that went beyond the usual event networking. 🌟 Engaged Keynotes: The keynote speakers really participated. I was insanely impressed with how much Chris Donnelly offered to the community above and beyond his fireside chat. On Day 2, during the Creator Hot Seat, he jumped in and shared so much actionable advice that elevated the entire group. (Sahil Bloom you were a huge topic of conversation at the event after Chris shared the impact you had on him). Like Chris, Timothy Armoo was present the whole time and made himself available to everyone in the room. We work with a lot of creators, and this event reminded me of this truth: Creators in community with other creators are almost always the most successful. Growth happens when we come together, share knowledge, and support each other. This is especially true in industries where creators often work behind a screen. I’ve always believed in the power of in-person events especially when relationships are at the center. To the Creator Space team - you built this and you should be proud of yourself. To everyone who attended, thank you for being part of this incredible community. Whether you’re a ConvertKit customer or not, we’re here to support you in your journey. #creatoreconomy #community #ConvertKit #CreatorSpace #CreatorSummit
