I'm obsessed with nonprofit staff retention. And I have good reason... because nonprofiteers tell us there's a problem. One way they tell us is through the Social Impact Staff Retention Project (SISR), which launched last year. Through it, Michelle Flores Vryn, CFRE and I ask nonprofiteers if they're looking for new jobs and why (or why not). And now we're back with SISR 2.0. Early findings this year show something disappointing but not surprising: 20 percent of nonprofiteers are rarely fulfilled in their work. Have five people on your team or in your organization?
