Congratulations to Dr. David Cope for receiving Utah’s Copic Humanitarian Award. Beverly Razon presented the award at the Utah Medical Association House of Delegates Annual Conference this weekend. Dr. Cope serves as the volunteer board chair of the Northern Utah Immunization Coalition (NUIC). He’s a passionate advocate for vaccination initiatives across northern Utah. Dr. Cope has directed the $10,000 donation that accompanies the award to NUIC.

It’s our 40th anniversary! In 1984, amid a crisis in the MPLI industry, a group of visionary Colorado doctors—along with support from the Colorado Medical Society—united to form Copic. They built an insurance company focused on ensuring that healthcare providers across the state had the support they needed. Today, we proudly serve 23,000+ healthcare providers and 330+ facilities in 12 core states and across the United States. As we celebrate our anniversary, we honor our founders' commitment to keeping patients safe and improving medicine in communities. Congratulations to Dr. Melvin Campbell who received the COPIC Humanitarian Award at the Nebraska Medical Association Annual Meeting. Dr. Campbell has gone above and beyond to serve Brown County and the surrounding communities for nearly 50 years. A dedicated physician, Dr. Campbell has directed the $10,000 donation that accompanies the award to Brown County Hospital Auxiliary to assist the Sandhills Care Center as they update the facility. Thank you for your outstanding contributions, Dr. Campbell!
