Job Summary: INDUSTRIAL PAINTING AND COATINGS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. SANDBLASTING AND BILINGUAL APPLICANTS ARE A PLUS. We are seeking a skilled Superintendent to oversee industrial coatings projects and ensure they are completed efficiently and within budget. The ideal candidate is highly autonomous. Willing to make important decisions with minimal oversight. Has a high attention to detail, high sense of urgency, and can build a strong team. Must have expertise in industrial coatings, sandblasting, and knowledge of coatings materials and applications. Responsibilities: - Ensure the project is profitable, well-staffed, and has adequate material, tools, and equipment. - Responsible for sourcing, recruiting, hiring, and meeting manpower obligations of each project. - Attend required meetings for each project. Understand turnover dates, critical path items, the sequencing of trades, and general project information. - Know the project schedule and ensure deadlines are met. - Collaborate with the Operations team and Client personnel. - Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to understand the scope and complexity of each project. - Implement and enforce safety policies and enforce a safe work environment. - Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Superintendent in the Industrial Coatings field - Proficiency in verbal and written communication - Strong understanding of Industrial Coatings and Materials - Excellent supervisory and leadership skills This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead industrial coatings projects to successful completion.
