Four years ago, I began exploring ways to develop myself professionally. I had the opportunity to attend the Cornerstone Leadership Academy through the FW Chapter, where I gained invaluable experience in leadership, public speaking, credit union principles, and self-confidence. As a special recognition, I was honored with the “Outstanding Student” award by my peers and instructors in 2020. Since this opportunity, I’ve continued to seek out and embrace every chance to grow and develop. My advice: never stop asking for opportunities, and always find your own ways to learn and improve. My favorite thing about working in a credit union is being an advocate by promoting our "people helping people" philosophy. I love to learn from my peers and leaders to make an impact together. 🌟What is one thing that surprises most people about you? People get surprised when they realize I have an artistic trait. I enjoy drawing, crafting, and decorating. I have painted murals, designed logos, face painted, choreographed, and so much more! 🌟If you could chat with any celebrity or public figure, who would it be and why? Frida Kahlo - she became a global symbol of resilience. Her bright art, unique style, and fashion promoted her passion for culture. Although she is no longer with us, her legacy remains and continues to inspire artists.
