Join us in congratulating Michelle Zlomke on her promotion! Michelle started her career with Cornhusker Bank nearly 10 years ago as the Teller Supervisor at South Street.  Since then, she has managed the Customer Engagement Center, been the Business Services manager, and over the last few years helped lead the commercial deposit charge as our Business Solutions Officer.  She has been invaluable in the growth and management of the bank’s deposit portfolio. Michelle stays busy representing Cornhusker Bank outside our walls also. She is in her 3rd year of the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado and will graduate next July.  She volunteers in the Lincoln community with the Lincoln Children’s Museum (Board of Directors/Treasurer), Heartland Cancer Foundation (Board of Directors/Treasurer), Leadership Lincoln (Board of Directors/Secretary), Nebraska Foundation for Public Leadership (Board of Directors/VP), Lincoln Arts Council (Board of Directors), and Rotary 14 (member and committee chair).

Cornhusker Bank associates attended Salute to Business, an annual event hosted by the four Rotary Clubs in Lincoln and honors a local business that is growing employment and furthers the Rotary motto of Service Before Self. The Rotary Clubs honored Hudl today at the annual Salute to Business event.

We're excited to welcome Rebecca Deterding to the Cornhusker Bank Omaha advisory board. Rebecca is the President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Omaha, serving thousands of youth, adults, families, and seniors in the Greater Omaha area in their 13 branch locations, 4 early learning centers, and 4 afterschool sites and through their impactful partnerships and outreach into the community.  She became the first woman to lead the YMCA of Greater Omaha in its 155-year history in 2022 after serving as CFO since 2015.

Our staff celebrated 60 years of support for women recovering and rebuilding their lives at St Monica‘s anniversary luncheon.

Our commercial, credit, & mortgage teams battled it out last Friday at Mahoney golf course. Congratulations to the commercial team of Nate Keller, Tyler Albers, Matt Biggs, Dave Shiffermiller, and Aaron Schmidt who won the 1st annual team outing! Champions: Commercial (Keller, Biggs, Albers, Schmidt, Shiffermiller)  Runner Up: Credit (Hilger, Lien, Fitzgerald, Linville)  3rd Place: Mortgage (Miller, A Essay, McGregor, Chaffee, Haralson)

Patriot Nation co-hosted the 3rd Blair High School Accounting class field trip with us. Students learned about banking, Cornhusker Bank, Patriot and how accounting ties it all together. Thank you, Mrs. Schrick, for letting your class spend this time with us.
