  • Last week, we celebrated National Rehabilitation Week with our Rehab team. It's a time to consider the millions of Americans who suffer from disabilities, injuries or illnesses that impair their ability to perform the normal activities of daily living. Our team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapists help our patients to be as independent as possible in their everyday activities. CRMC has an exceptional team and were proud to celebrate them!

  • Emily Mwembu, RN, and Alician Soriano, CNA, Medical/Surgical Unit were recently honored for a "Good Catch" recognition. This recognition is given to a staff member who reports or corrects an event that might have the potential to result in an error or injury, but did not. Our staff must rely on their skill and intuition at the bedside, and that is what both Emily and Alician did with a recent patient. Thank you both!

  • College student, Safiya Sulaiman, has been volunteering at CRMC since she was in high school! She wanted to do something special for the pediatric patients in our Emergency Room. She and her sister gathered coloring books and crayons to bring to the hospital and present to our ER Director, Candy and Manager, Malissa. Thank you, Safiya, for being so resourceful and giving back to the community!

  • In recognition of Celiac Awareness Day, we'd like the community to know that Corona Regional Medical Center achieves National Certification as a Gluten-Free Food Service Facility! The CRMC nutrition team met the rigorous standards and expectations for safety required to achieve this honor. Validation as a Gluten-Free Safe Spot establishes trust with gluten-free patients in the ability of a hospital to provide safe gluten-free food. We continue to be your "Partner in Health and Healing"!
