About us
CORRE is a full-service transportation engineering firm offering large-firm capabilities with small-firm attitude. Our six offices and 100+ employees located throughout Wisconsin serve local government and WisDOT with full-service planning, design, and construction services. We also offer an array of in-house specialty services that support our design and construction teams in areas such as environmental, historical, real estate, and surveying. By having the ability to complete a wide variety of services in-house, we are able to provide cost-effective, high-quality services. We navigate the red tape so you don’t have to. When it comes to project funding for design and construction, we understand the minutia of the process and the required documentation. We design to meet your community’s needs and provide the reports and approvals necessary to assure that your project meets local, state, and federal requirements.

CHECK IT OUT | Take a look at the way CORRE engineers are using drones to map out project progress!
Using drones for aerial mapping offers advantages for project monitoring and design. These maps provide up-to-date, high-resolution images that can be created quickly, often within a day, making them ideal for sharing real-time progress. The examples below compare recent drone aerials from CORRE with comparison imagery from Google Earth and Civil 3D 2024. Drone-generated maps offer more current and detailed site information, and they can be updated in stages to track project progress efficiently. 🛣️ STH 14 📍 Westby, WI

IN PROGRESS | Work on the I-41/43/894 Airport Freeway project in Milwaukee County is underway. 50,000 square yards of HMA milling and paving was recently performed over two 54-hour weekend closures, one in each direction. 600 tons of asphalt per hour were rolled out across three lanes. Because of the team’s hard work and coordination, the new drive surface was ready for the public ahead of the Monday morning rush hour. A big thank you to Karisa Rusch for taking this timelapse photo showing off the paving blitz! This multi-year improvement project includes reconstructing the shoulders of I-894, resurfacing the freeway mainline and ramps, improving drainage systems, enhancing lighting and signing, bridge painting and a full reconstruct of the Loomis Bridge, ramps, and intersections. #constructionengineering Karisa R., Benjamin Krolczyk, EIT, David Toepper, Hunter Bindas, Joe Gruenhagen, Mariel Crisci, Paul Burg, Chris Nies, Payne + Dolan | A Walbec Group Company, Wisconsin Department of Transportation
