Just released: Cosmic Robotics was named a winner in the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO) American-Made Solar Prize 🚀 This award recognizes innovators tackling America’s biggest energy challenges. At Cosmic, we’re focused on creating tools to help industry build critical energy infrastructure. We’re proud to contribute to this mission alongside the DOE, whose leadership is driving the development of groundbreaking technologies to meet the most pressing challenges of our time.

SN-0001 "TARS" absolutely killed it on Cosmic Robotics's first field test at a customer site. I was spooked about deploying in one of the dustiest areas of the country I've ever visited, but the months of development paid off and the vehicle held up great. We gathered incredible insights across the chart and I'm stoked to continue pushing our iteration rate even faster. We have several robotics software engineer roles open and are rapidly growing the team. If you're excited about accelerating Earth's transition to renewable infrastructures and developing autonomous systems to build cities on Mars, you'll fit right into our team of ex-NASA, Amazon, Google, SpaceX, and Built Robotics engineers. Before we'd raised a penny, we got to brainstorm our technology with the brilliant minds on their robotics research group and use their machine shop and facilities for initial testing! GIANT ROBOT ALERT!! Incredibly excited to show off how future solar farms will be built with our Cosmic-1 platform. We hit another huge milestone with fully autonomous solar panel installation at our test facility last week. This demo was put together just 4 months after starting development which is absolutely breakneck speed for any robotics product, let alone an outdoor construction robot. To hit US’s renewable infrastructure build out targets, automation is absolutely critical. Today, crews of manual laborers have to install millions of 80lb solar panels to build solar farms by hand and there’s a larger backlog of projects than ever before. Cosmic-1 will radically accelerate the rate of construction and combat the increasing labor shortage in the sector. Next up is deployment to solar farms… stay tuned!
