Meet Evan Schallerer, Senior Software Engineer at Cosmos. Evan finds immense satisfaction in collaborating with a talented team to deliver high-value features that make a tangible difference in customers' lives. Recently, he’s been working on an exciting overhaul of the Cosmos platform, using cutting-edge technologies to make the product faster, more scalable, and easier to use.    One of his proudest achievements is the ETL project released earlier this spring. This ambitious feature required several design iterations to meet their performance goals, but the results exceeded expectations and opened the door to even more innovative features in the future.    Outside of work, Evan enjoys getting his hands dirty—whether it’s in his garden, fixing up his old house, or chasing after his energetic dog, who’s always finding new ways to get into trouble. When it comes to inspiration, Evan’s theme song is "Corporate Inspiring Motivational," which he first heard in a Cosmos promotional video and now listens to every morning to kickstart his day.     If given the chance to visit any planet, Evan would stick with Earth, appreciating its breathable atmosphere—a feature he finds particularly useful. Her flexibility and calm approach allow her to navigate complex challenges and ensure clarity and transparency with partners and customers—keys to her ongoing success. Outside of work, Fiona enjoys hiking, spending time with family, and letting loose with some dancing and a few drinks (or three!). Her theme song? "Dancing Queen" by ABBA, of course. And if she had a spaceship, she’d call it "Cosmic Girl," complete with a bar, disco ball, and plenty of drinks to go around.    Fiona's superpower of choice is Wonder Woman, whose strength, compassion, and empathy are qualities she strives to embody. Get to know Michael Dach, Customer Engagement Specialist at Cosmos! Mike thrives on solving complex problems. For him, the most rewarding part of his job is finding solutions to challenges that may initially seem insurmountable. Each day brings new obstacles, and it’s the joy of cracking those tough cases that keeps Mike motivated and excited to come to work. His calm and level-headed approach is especially appreciated when working on high-stress support cases, where his ability to focus and maintain composure helps ease customers’ worries.     Outside of work, Mike enjoys restoring old vehicles, a passion he shares with his dad. It’s a project they’ve bonded over, spending hours together bringing classic cars back to life. When it comes to motivation, Mike lives by the quote, "Things in life worth having aren't easily attained," a reminder to keep pushing through challenges to achieve meaningful results.    If Mike could have any fictional gadget, it would be the hoverboard from Back to the Future, which he’d use to zip around the city. Andrew thrives on working closely with both Microsoft partners and their customers to solve real business challenges in the world of reporting and analytics. The most rewarding part of his role is building strong relationships with partners and creating an educational environment where everyone collaborates to push clients’ businesses forward.     For Andrew, it’s all about unlocking the potential of data within Dynamics, allowing companies to make smarter, more informed decisions. He’s a huge proponent of Data Democratization, a trend that’s breaking down silos and empowering organizations to use data in ways they never could before—putting key insights into the hands of everyone across the business. Outside of work, Andrew is a diehard Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan, an avid skier, and a fan of building with Legos—balancing strategy with creativity in both his professional and personal life.  If he could visit any planet, he’d head to the moon—especially if it’s made of cheese, as he’s heard. Meet Zachary Faltersack, Chief Technology Officer at Cosmos! As CTO, Zachary thrives on finding opportunities to improve performance in unexpected ways. Whether it's optimizing a process or solving complex technical challenges, he views every opportunity as a puzzle that ultimately enhances the value Cosmos delivers to its customers.     One of his most interesting recent projects was rebuilding Cosmos’ data warehousing engine from the ground up—a complicated but rewarding effort that resulted in better-than-expected performance improvements. What Zachary finds most fascinating is how customers use Cosmos' products in ways he never could have anticipated. Even when designing for specific use cases, customers continuously push boundaries and invent new ways to maximize the platform’s features, a process Zachary finds both surprising and delightful.    Outside of work, Zachary is a dedicated athlete who enjoys running, competing in triathlons, and hiking.
