Good news! I’m excited to announce that I’m now a facilitator for CEO Start 🎉 CEO Start is a 10-week group learning program that helps entrepreneurs turn their ideas into viable businesses. Tonight, 15 aspiring entrepreneurs will start working through a nationally recognized curriculum to test their ideas and identify critical assumptions. Every Tuesday, I’ll share the topics we’ll work through, our entrepreneurs' progress, and what they’ve learned. CO.STARTERS by FINSYNC powers this program in collaboration with Hennepin County and the cities of Brooklyn Park and Bloomington.

Jeanette Brewster is an entrepreneur. She's also a trusted mentor and supporter of other innovators. The GCEDC Board Member spent four years as program director of Village Launch helping minority and female founders follow their dream. Today, her work toward that mission continues as training and facilitation manager for CO.STARTERS by FINSYNC. “I think Greenville has an opportunity to get right what so many communities have gotten wrong,” Brewster said. “Being intentional about including the community in decisions, making them aware of things that are happening.”

We have two opportunities: ⭕ September 4: Someone to discuss the marketing strategies that led to their business's success. ⭕ September 25: Someone to talk about the actual costs of starting a business, including unforeseen expenses (whether their business succeeded or failed). Both sessions begin at 5:30 pm ET / 4:30 pm CT and will be held on Zoom. We provide pre-written interview questions, making it an easy way to support the next generation of business owners.
