As a First 5 Program Coordinator II, you'll be crucial in helping the Calaveras Children and Families Commission strengthen families with young children and connect them to valuable resources. In this role, you'll support families with children from prenatal to age 5, addressing their unique needs and challenges in a rural setting. You'll work closely with local organizations, engage with families, and collaborate with others who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the community. We’re looking for someone who works well with others, is a supportive team player, and has experience coordinating community programs. This position will: •  Maintain stock of postal and other office supplies for the Mail Room and reorder as needed •  Receive and slot incoming County mail •  Log incoming certified mail •  Deliver outgoing mail to the local US Post Office •  Maintain County postage machine – clean print head, replace ink, sealant, postal tape, and communicate with vendor technician as required •  Process (weighs, stamps, seals) mail for a variety of County departments as needed •  Receive Information Technology packages and match to work tickets •  Coordinate with Integrated Waste staff to recycle waste toner bottles, batteries, and cell phones •  Recycle toner and ink cartridges •  Schedules package pickups for UPS, drops off packages for FedEx •  Run reports for Departmental monthly mail billing •  Maintains stock of copier paper for Duplication •  Perform meter readings and orders supplies for Departmental Duplication machines as required •  Perform other duties as assigned The Office Technician I must be able to lift and move a limited number of packages each day that will weigh up to 25 pounds each.
