Sharon Pizzuti, Vice President for Courtland Consulting, joins us for our employee spotlight! We asked Sharon what project is she most proud of and why? "I am most proud of the Evaluation of Dads from Day One -a Detroit based Fatherhood Initiative. I leveraged my years of experience, the investments of mentors from the child support community, and my passion for partnerships, outreach, and equity to contribute to a program that connected new Fathers to their children and provided services for vulnerable families. These services improved their lives financially and emotionally, as well as established long-term community connections." What are you currently learning or working on to develop professionally? "As vice-president, I oversee Courtland’s consulting contracts to provide a variety of user support during statewide system implementations or upgrades. I advise our President on strategic initiatives. My leadership volunteer roles within the national professional organizations, NCSEA, NTCSA, NCCSD, ERICSA, WICSEC and state and local organizations is extremely valuable to me; It allows me to leverage my passion for connecting others and positively influence the child support community in new and creative ways." What's a hidden talent or interesting fact about you? "I love muscle cars – I used to rebuild and race them in my teens and one day I’d love to do that again! I actively volunteer through local county parks as a nest box monitor and through my local senior center to provide meals on wheels."
