CPC Chung Pak Early Childhood Center is excited to participate in the Eat Well Play Hard Farm to Preschool program by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene! This summer and fall, our children are enjoying garden-themed nutrition lessons 🥕, while parents and the community join weekly cooking demonstration workshops. Special thanks to Chung Pak LDC for coordinating and generously allowing us to use their rooftop garden space.

U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and State Senator Iwen Chu held a press conference on e-bike safety at CPC Brooklyn Community Center. They were joined by Council Member Alexa Aviles, New York City Fire Department (FDNY) Commissioner Laura Kavanaugh and over 25 community leaders. We acknowledge that people most affected by e-bike fires are Asian Americans, people of color, immigrant and lower income communities. It is critical that we work together to ensure safety of our communities by ensuring and provide wrap around services to all the victims affected by tragic incidents of E-bike fire. CPC is looking forward to working with our elected partners and community leaders to ensure safety in our neighborhoods.
