In cooperation with these partners, CPWR identifies hazards, conducts research on hazards, risks and the solutions, and accelerates the use of safer tools, equipment and work practices on construction sites - research into practice (r2p). CPWR serves as the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health's (NIOSH) National Construction Center and the research and training arm of North America's Building Trades Unions.
