Creating Authentic Connections for Brands and Agencies with the Military Community

I’ve talked about the benefits for a brand to support the military as a growth strategy. Some brands simply have it in their DNA. Flying Ace (by CraftCo.), an American-made bourbon brand, has created an educational scholarship program with non-profit organization Folds of Honor. Special point-of-sale materials, including bottle neckers, featuring the partnership logo, will be applied to all bourbon expressions of Flying Ace at over 450 retail locations. These point-of-sale pieces will include a QR code, providing consumers with a convenient way to make donations to Folds of Honor via a dedicated landing page on the Flying Ace website. To break this down, a brand with a military-inspired name has partnered with a charitable organization which supports military (and first responders). Rather than simply throwing money at the charity and putting out a press release, the brand leans into the partnership via their packaging to promote the partnership, the charitable organization, and a call-to-action for individuals to support. The next time you’re standing in front of a shelf looking for something new to try and one brand is outwardly supporting a cause near and dear to you and the another brand is not, which one are you going to take to the checkout line? #MilitaryMarketing #Military #marketing #MilitaryAppreciation
