Members of Cranberry's Board of Supervisors and Administration team were on hand Saturday for the kick of the Cranberry CUP, an organization that raises funds to help community families facing tough challenges. In its 25th year, the CUP has helped dozens of community members through its annual softball tournament and golf outing, with all money remaining in the community.

Cranberry Township is seeking applicants for a full-time Administrative Clerk with the Cranberry Township Police Department. This position will regularly receive and respond to the public’s communications, inquiries, requests, and concerns. Technical support includes assisting with the coordination of court hearings, receiving and processing payments, and assisting with the management and quality control of records, files and data. The successful applicant will also assist with the internal department operations by maintaining calendars, receiving and routing mail and providing other administrative support tasks. Cranberry Township seeks applicants for a full-time Codes Administrator position with the Planning and Development Services Department. The Codes Administrator I or II positions serve as points of contact to both the residents and business owners in the community. They are responsible for the administration, review, approval and issuance of all residential and commercial building, sign and zoning permits and related licenses in compliance with Township regulations, codes and ordinances. Responsibilities for the Codes Administrator I position include conducting residential building and zoning plan review, issuing permits, providing internal and external customer service and technical assistance as needed. Responsibilities for Codes Administrator II position include conducting residential and commercial building, site, fire prevention, property maintenance and Zoning inspections and enforcement, as well as conducting land development subdivision, conditional use, zoning and fire prevention plan review residential building and zoning plan reviews. Cranberry Township seeks a full-time Director for the Utilities Department to play an integral role in guaranteeing utility services are provided to the community in a manner that supports and promotes public health and public safety. The position requires extensive expertise and knowledge of water treatment and distribution; wastewater treatment and collection and residential and commercial waste removal services. The successful candidate for this position must have expertise and knowledge in utility management that can be used to develop policies and procedures and determine and implement efficient and innovative ways to accomplish the organization’s strategies.
