About us
Who We Are: Founded in 1998, Creative Kids Brands exploded onto the market with the launch of our first Art Activity line under the house name of “Creative Kids”. The line ranged from easels to crayons and everything in between. Since then, CK’s offering has expanded to over 12 categories with distribution in over 40 countries globally. Our success and tremendous growth year after year is due to our uncompromising commitment to innovation and quality driven toys. Creative Kids is headquartered in NY, with offices in Hong Kong, Manchester, Shanghai and Guangzhou. With over 200 people in our roster, we all work together with the same goal in mind: to bring innovative, quality driven products to market. Our Culture: Creativity For All We seek to inspire young people every where, from the second they start one of our projects to the moment they have that WOW feeling that they created something amazing. We want to give children the confidence that they can do everything and anything .

We are in a fast-paced industry, and achieving true product-market fit is EVERYTHING 🪄 Ideas flood in daily, but not every great concept fits our brand or market strategy. As the saying goes, “Sometimes slowing down is the best way to speed up.” 🥠 Recently, during a visit to Walgreens, I was lucky enough to spot one of my favorite Creative Kids products in the wild (they're usually sold out 😂)—a product that taught me a valuable lesson worth sharing. Enter the incredible success of our Peel and Play Trays, a case study from our Creative Kids team under the renowned Sense & Grow brand. The Category: If you’re involved in the day-to-day of the toy industry, you don't need me to tell you that sensory play has become a significant movement in recent years, with no signs of slowing down. One of the key items in the creative space has been sensory bins—a bin filled with a collection of materials for kids to play with, engaging all their senses. The Opportunity: Seeing a product in the market and deciding to simply "go after it" seems straightforward enough. But if we want to climb the toy mountain, we need to think bigger. At Creative Kids, we identified an untapped market beyond traditional sensory bins, which were mostly seen as occasional gifts rather than daily essentials. We aimed higher—to integrate sensory play into daily life. The Strategy: Innovation with Precision Rather than reinventing the wheel with $50-$100+ retail products, we focused on what we believed consumers were looking for that the current suppliers weren’t offering. It sounds simple, but… go online… read customer reviews! See what influencers and bloggers are doing for themselves and their families to understand the need. We studied, prototyped, and studied some more… After some DMCs and soul-searching, we introduced the Sense & Grow Peel and Play Trays at an accessible $3.99-$4.99 retail. Our goal? To redefine how families embrace sensory play as part of their everyday routine—an impulse buy that transforms a play pattern historically associated with gift-giving into a basic, accessible format. The Results: Redefining Success By partnering closely with retailers, we witnessed a phenomenal response—some stores moving over 50 UPSPW! (units per store per week!) It’s proof that true value starts with understanding our customers and their evolving needs. Value takes many forms, but the real magic happens when we understand and meet customer desires!
