💡CREATS FARMER SPOTLIGHT💡 This is Moses, a man whose journey into farming we recently had the privilege to support. Moses had left the city life behind, driven to build a sustainable livelihood for himself and to contribute meaningfully to his community. He came to express his thanks for the small role we played in helping him take that first step into the world of farming. Moses shared his observations about the village youth, many of whom left for education and returned home with dreams in their hearts, only to find themselves trapped in joblessness. “It’s painful to watch young men who have worked so hard to graduate feel the weight of disappointment. Supporting a grown man who has no means of earning a living is stressful for families. The struggle strips them of their dignity, and they begin to lose hope,” he said. Moses shared his plans to cultivate kale on a large scale. He believes that kale would be more profitable, providing him not just with income but with a chance to set an example for others. “I want to show the youth that farming isn’t a fallback plan; it’s a step forward.” #sustainableagriculture #ruralliving #nonprofit #motivation #wemakeithappen

Today, Creats International had the pleasure of hosting Mrs. Pamela, the Rachuonyo South Sub County Agricultural Officer, Aurel from ETH Zurich University, and Alaro from Jaramogi Odinga Odinga University as part of their assessment on soil health, biomass, and biodiversity in our region. It was a productive day filled with insightful discussions on sustainable agriculture and strategies to boost soil fertility and ecological balance. Their commitment to research and collaboration is inspiring and essential for enhancing agricultural practices and supporting our farmers. Grateful for the knowledge exchange and looking forward to the positive impact this will bring to our community. #SustainableAgriculture #CommunityDevelopment #CreatsInternational

This week we had several wins. Our partnership with be/impact culminated into a professional development training for our team members. The training scheduled for January 2025, will be conducted by the German-based Global Consulting firm, Roland Berger. Also, we have partnered with BIBLE MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL.
