Crescent Biopharma is proud to announce the addition of three experienced industry leaders to our executive team: Dr. Wenjie Cheng as SVP of Technical Operations, Ryan Lynch as Chief Accounting Officer, and Barbara Bispham as General Counsel. These appointments come as we continue to grow and execute our strategic plans. We're making steady progress on our pipeline, including our lead asset CR-001, which is on track for IND filing in Q4 2025. Our work on novel ADCs, CR-002 and CR-003, is also advancing well. As we prepare for our anticipated reverse merger with GlycoMimetics, these new leaders will play important roles in supporting our ongoing development programs. 📢 NEWS: GlycoMimetics has announced an agreement to acquire Crescent Biopharma and advance Crescent’s portfolio of novel biologics precision engineered to improve outcomes for patients with solid tumors — delivering superior efficacy to the current gold standard. Upon completion of the merger, the unified company will operate as Crescent, progressing lead assets CR-001, a cooperative PD-1 x VEGF bispecific antibody and CR-002, an antibody-drug conjugate for an undisclosed target with a topoisomerase inhibitor payload that may offer best-in-class efficacy. With a concurrent private financing of approximately $200 million led by Fairmount Funds Management LLC, Venrock, BVF PARTNERS, L.P, and a large investment management firm, Crescent expects to fund operations through 2027.
