🚨SPOTLIGHT ALERT 🚨 Typically when we post an employee spotlight video our rockstar social media manager will come up with a brief paragraph describing the person who we’re highlighting with the video. In this case we’re changing things up a bit. The following was written by Chris Gerhart, the owner and founder of Crescent Event Productions, but much more importantly the son of Mary Gerhart, Crescent’s Director of Financial Operations. Chris wrote: I’ve had the unique pleasure of both spending 20 years working with Mary professionally, and, more importantly, the lifelong pleasure of calling her “mom”. Her professional accomplishments have been immeasurable, navigating the financial and HR challenges of a start up business while working for her (at times hot headed) son. And, while the majority of this video focuses on my mom’s professional accomplishments, I hope it also allows you all to catch a glimpse into the woman, the incredible mother and friend, that Mary has been to me, and to so many others, over the years. My mom didn’t want to film her own spotlight video so we decided to create one for her. This video is our way of sharing a little bit about the woman, who, despite often wanting to remain out of the spotlight, has impacted every person who has had any connection to Crescent since its inception. He has been working in the AV industry for 8 years with an emphasis on Audio engineering and has been working on productions in a volunteer capacity for about 13 years.
