Fern Goldman has been a member of CREW since 2019, and joined the Communication Committee a year later. In 2021, Fern served on the Board as the Communications Director, and as Co-Chair of Communications in 2024. In addition to wanting to be more involved in CREW, Fern joined Communications in order to learn more about using social media platforms for marketing and network development. After joining the Committee, she quickly appreciated going to CREW events and seeing people she recognized from the Committee when she walked in. Fern has played a crucial role in keeping our chapter on track with our Strategic Plan and CREW Network initiatives. Fern had this to say about her experience in CREW: “I have enjoyed working with creative, ambitious and hard-working women on our Committee, who are at different stages of their varying careers in Commercial Real Estate. I am proud of the extensive amount of quality social media we have produced this year and the increased interest in our platforms. One of my favorite parts of being in CREW is learning about Commercial Real Estate Development in our region and the many roles of women in the industry at our luncheons and other events. I enjoy using the knowledge gained to write social media posts as well as sharing the information with family and friends and impressing them with my knowledge of what’s going on around the region!”

Corissa Hines has been a member of CREW for 2 years and has served on the Communications Committee since this time. She quickly became an integral part of the Committee, volunteering her time to assist with maintaining our social media accounts and weekly communications. Corissa was inspired by the incredible people already working on the Communications Committee, which pushed her to take on a leadership role as Co-Chair beginning in 2024. Corissa had this to say about this to say about her experience in CREW: “I love leading the Communications team. Not only do we collaborate with all other committees, gaining insight into their activities, but I also get to work alongside passionate invigorated women dedicated to uniting others through the power of communication and social media. These incredible women on the Communications team are one of the many reasons I continue to be a part of CREW.”
