Tonight we were able to celebrate our very own Chris Colburn for his Forty Year Membership of United Association of Union Plumbers, Fitters, Welders and Service Techs as he along with many members of Steamfitters UA Local 602 were honored and received their certificate and representative pin. As we celebrate this incredible milestone, we wish to thank you Chris for your service, your dedication, your hard work and the influence you've had on everyone you've worked with over the years. You have left an indelible mark on this trade, especially CRW Mechanical, Inc., and we are all better for it. The Maryland Apprenticeship and Training Council held its most recent bi-monthly meeting in Largo. During the meeting, dozens of leaders, managers, and trainers discussed their plans and objectives to hire and train new apprentices. For this meeting, the Program Director, Chris MacLarion, revealed that the Maryland Apprenticeship and Training Program achieved a milestone and engaged nearly 1,000 Youth Apprentices! As the state's premiere Youth Apprenticeship initiative, it opens doors to learning and employment opportunities for apprentices across Maryland.
