Cautious optimism rises as the trucking industry shows select signs of stabilization, but organizations must navigate several hurdles before declaring victory over the downturn. Following 27 months of consistent rate declines, 2024 has finally seen a slight year-on-year increase of 0.2% in trucking rates. Con entusiasmo, recibimos en nuestras oficinas al equipo del Panama Roundtable del Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). Como promotores del desarrollo logístico y la inversión, apoyamos esta iniciativa, que busca impulsar la colaboración internacional y fortalecer el crecimiento económico del país. Participaron de esta primera reunión Ramón Poveda, presidente del Panama Roundtable; Juan Demóstenes Pérez, líder de Young Professionals; y Demóstenes Pérez, miembro de la junta directiva global de CSCMP. Durante la sesión se establecieron metas para maximizar el impacto de la mesa redonda y fomentar la capacitación, innovación y crecimiento de los profesionales logísticos en Panamá.
